External Connection (DRM)

You can connect to an Oracle database from DRM.

The external connection is for you to register the connection information typically entered in the tnsname file.

  • Server Name
  • Port #
  • Service Name
  • User ID (Oracle DB User)
  • Password
  • Schema
  • and grant a list of tables that become accessible to a given connection

DRM is written in .NET architecture

The connection string is the ODP.NET connection string
